While I have always loved cars and all things automotive growing up, my appreciation and love for watches really began with the first watch my partner gifted me for our first Valentine's Day together. This was a Fossil Silver Decker Chronograph watch which I wore daily. (Far left in the image above)
About three years ago, I spotted the Fossil Machine Chronograph Watch in gunmetal grey with blue accents similar to my car and I just had to purchase it. (Second to left in the image above)
This was a pivotal moment as it marked the beginning of creating my own business built on two things I love: cars and watches. I decided I was going to create a high-quality car-themed watch for car and watch enthusiasts alike.
I first began by dedicating hours of research into how watches are constructed and designed as well as sketching out numerous potential designs inspired by iconic car wheels. While researching the car watch market, I found the majority of car-themed watches were either high-end watches with a hefty price tag for affluent consumers such as Richard Mille or poorly made and cheap wheel watches available on platforms such as Ali Express and Wish. This encouraged me to ensure my watches were high quality, distinctive and, of course, affordable.
Around a year later, with my research and planning continuing, I became more and more confident in my idea. I decided to take the plunge and begin making my car watches into a real product. This phase involved trialling different watch manufacturers and box suppliers, designing the brand, creating a website, making business cards and hours of effort, energy and emails along with a fair share of wasted time.
After investing a lot of time, energy and savings, I am now proud to say I have created high-quality watches closely matched to car wheel designs which offer both luxury and affordability.
